1. PROJECT OVERVIEW

This Detailed Project Report (DPR) covers the establishment of a PV Junction Box Assembly Production Line designed to manufacture ready-to-install, diode-integrated junction boxes for modern solar module manufacturing.

The proposed production line is intended to support high-efficiency, high-power photovoltaic (PV) modules and is engineered to ensure:

  • Stable and repeatable product quality
  • Scalable production throughput
  • Modular expansion capability
  • Long-term compatibility with evolving PV technologies

The output of the line is a fully assembled, electrically tested, and installation-ready PV junction box, eliminating the need for secondary manual assembly processes at the module production stage.

 

2. APPLICATION SCOPE – SOLAR MODULE TECHNOLOGIES

The production line is compatible with PV junction boxes used across a wide spectrum of current and next-generation solar module technologies, including:

3. PRODUCT OUTPUT – READY-TO-USE JUNCTION BOX

Each unit produced from the line is delivered as a complete and finished product with the following characteristics:

  • Fully assembled PV junction box
  • Integrated bypass diode system
  • Pre-connected positive and negative cables
  • Industry-standard connectors (MC4 or equivalent)
  • Electrical and mechanical integrity testing completed
  • Ready-to-plug-and-play installation

No additional manual assembly or secondary processing is required prior to installation on the solar module.

 

4. PRODUCTION PROCESS & EQUIPMENT CONFIGURATION

The production line consists of dedicated automatic and semi-automatic workstations, arranged for synchronized operation to maintain consistent output quality.

The line architecture allows optional integration of additional modules based on customer production requirements, including:

  • Cable transfer modules (offline or online configurations)
